    Let’s make it official.

Four things make an exchange of knowledge official.

    Provenance

Every change is signed by who made it, under whose authority, and when. Nothing enters a workspace unsigned.

    Change
    Mortgage quote, 25 years
    Signed by
    Alder Bank, 14:02
    Authority
    Agreement with Sanne Visser

    History

Every change is kept, none overwritten, none quietly rewritten. Like code, a workspace has history.

    14:02
    Quote computed
    14:02
    Rules checked
    13:58
    Access granted

    Validation

Every change is checked against the workspace’s rules before it lands. What fails is refused, with the reason.

    Refused
Debt ratio above the bank’s limit
    Rule
    Affordability

    Agreement

Access is granted for one purpose, under an agreement that is itself on record. An agreement can carry a price.

    Purpose
    Mortgage quote, 25 years
    Scope
    Income and debts
    Term
    48 hours

    How an exchange runs

    1. Agree The owner names the purpose, the scope, the term, and the price.
    2. Authorize The other party gets only the authority that purpose needs.
    3. Execute The question travels to the workspace; only the answer travels back.
    4. Settle Every party is paid at once, and the record stays where the work happened.

    On record

The record lives in the workspace it concerns, not in anyone’s central log. To read it, ask that workspace.
